Girl's Night Out, U2 Concert, State Fair with Nana, Funny Quotes by Macy
Recent Funny Quotes from Macy:
- "Something is drowning in my ear!" (in reference to having the feeling of water in her ear)
- "Mom, I bless-you'ed all over the window!" (after she sneezed bagel all over the window in the car)
- "Look at that big waterspout!" (It took me a while to figure this out, but it was in reference to a neighbor's giant spiderweb decoration - she thinks it's called a waterspout because of the Itsy-Bitsy spider song)
That's all of the funny ones I can think of right now. Bryce doesn't say much besides, "Mama, Dada and (randomly) Apple". He is so cute when he smiles...he wrinkles up his whole face and shows his teeth...he loves to eat yogurt and crackers and you can always get one of these giant smiles out of him just by saying one of those 2 words! Bryce has recently started a Mother's Day Out Program at a church near Macy's preschool...he is loving it and I am so pleased with the school and the teachers! :)
Speaking of MDO, I better go pick the little stinker up....see ya next time!

Austin trip and more
Ok, so now back to present time...Oct 19th is Bryan and my 7 year wedding anniversary!!! We will be celebrating on our trip to Napa Valley in November with some good friends. For our anniversary night, I was inspired by a Barefoot Contessa episode the other day and I got a wild hair and decided to go for it...after all, it was supposed to be EASY, right? She makes it look so effortless....well, after wrestling a butternut squash and dropping it into the trashcan several times(it was empty with a clean bag) while trying to peel it, I cut my finger slicing the apples, then to top it off I splattered my face and neck with hot butter while flipping the fish and was in pain all last night (it's better today, no lasting scars). But, the dinner was very yummy if I must say so myself...Atlantic Flounder Meuniere, Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with Warm Cider Vinaigrette and a French Apple Tart (the tart was sooooo good!!). Anyway, at least it tasted good, but I'm the worst cook...at least it was edible, unlike the infamous "chewy lasagna" I made after we first got married...Bryan still won't let me live that one down :)
Ok, so next post coming soon will be State Fair, TX-OU and Pumpkin Patch....
