13 Months

Macy is getting more and more fun by the day! Here are some recent pictures of her latest antics. Last week we went to play at the park with Nana and had lots of fun! A couple weeks ago Mike and Betsy came to town and we all had dinner with Mindy and Marc at Mi Cocina...Macy was such a good girl at dinner! Then, on St. Patrick's Day we went to the big parade on Greenville Ave...Mimi, Poppy and Aunt Paige went and we all had a great time...Macy enjoyed playing with random water bottles, confetti and candy more than she liked watching the parade. She has been getting more skilled at walking and now follows us all over the house. She has still been battling ear infections and has had many visits to the doctor lately. She has also been to an opthamologist to look at her eye (clogged tear duct) and we go back on Tuesday to have the eye probed....yikes...that doesn't sound fun at all!! Macy is still into climbing and loves to get on the door of the dishwasher. Daddy put her in his office chair last night and spun her around...she loved it and it may be her new favorite game! Macy loves to play with phones now and the real ones are much better than the play ones...she puts it up to her ear and says something that sounds like "hello"...anytime she hears a phone ringing on t.v. or wherever, she puts her hand to her ear and says "hello". It's very cute...see picture below! She is also making Daddy very proud by brushing her teeth every night...we tried this about a week ago and she caught on right away and loves to brush them! She now has 4 teeth :) Bryan loves the picture below since his hair looks awesome! Despite all the ear infections and teething, Macy has become a better sleeper lately (with an occassional bad night)...the dark circles are starting to fade for Mommy :)

Walking!

Macy is really walking now! She doesn't need so much coaxing anymore...she'll go on her own and for the length of a room...AND she can do turns while walking:) These first 2 pictures were taken today after school while we were playing in the backyard...she loved the dandelions and was walking all over the place with them. She also gets into EVERYTHING now...a couple funny things: we found a full roll of toilet paper in the toilet one day and she was standing nearby grinning...she crawled into my basket of gift bows when I was re-organizing my office the other day (see below)...and she LOVES to play with Emma's dog bowls (yuk)...we try to keep her away, but a couple days ago she opened Emma's food bin and dumped it all over the place (see below)! She's still just got 2 teeth, but we think one more is on the way...and her poor hair is definitely lacking, but she has a few spriglets in the back that curl up really cute...she just needs to grow a lot more!
