4th of July and Baby Bryce's Shower

Well, we had a fun July 4th weekend!!! Bryan and I went to play TopGolf with some friends on Thursday night while Macy spent some quality time with Aunt PaiPai. We had a blast and I did pretty good despite my big belly getting in the way of swinging the club:) On Friday, we had Bryan's side of the family over for swimming and a cookout. We also had the Brackens and Reynolds over...the Reynolds drove in from Denver for the week with their beautiful 4 month old triplets!! Macy loved having the babies around...she would run from room to room and check on them while they were napping at our house...she is standing proudly behind them in the picture (from L to R: Briana, Carson, and Amber). That night we rode the shuttle over to Breckinridge Park to watch the firework show...Macy's favorite part was the shuttle ride or "school bus"...we sat in the front on the way there and the bus driver actually sang "The Wheels on the Bus" with us. **Disclaimer: Yes, I am holding a beer in the picture below, but I was just holding it for Bryan while he took the picture** :) Sunday was Baby Bryce's shower at MiMi's house...MiMi, PaiPai and Pat Cowan hosted it and it was such a fun shower and Baby Bryce got lots of good stuff. I've included a few pics that Kristy sent me that she took. We really enjoyed spending the time with family and friends. Since the July 4th weekend, Macy has strangely decided that she likes to eat hot dog buns...plain. Kind of weird, but we had a lot of them left over and she has been mowing them down...see pic below of her eating one. Nana came over yesterday to play and help me organize Baby Bryce's new stuff...her and Macy took a break and played in the bounce house for a while...cute pic! The other random picture at the bottom was one morning while Macy was napping in our bed...I was getting ready in the bathroom and went to check on her and she was asleep with her finger in her nose...so funny, her eyes opened a little when I took the picture, then she went right back to sleep (she may not appreciate that picture when she grows up...sorry Macy). Otherwise, Macy and I have still had coughs...Macy had to go back to the Dr over the weekend and get another antibiotic for an ear infection...we are both getting better now. One more very exciting piece of news is this: Macy went poo poo in the potty :) Yea!!! We made a huge deal of it and gave her a few M&Ms as a reward. We're not getting our hopes up too much though because before this she tee tee'ed on the potty once before, but that was several months ago and she hasn't been able to again.
