Easter, Bryce's Baptism & Bluebonnets
We had a wonderful Easter this year! Bryce was baptised at the Saturday evening Easter vigil service and besides a few minor meltdowns (mostly from Macy) it went pretty well for a late night (we didn't get home until 11pm!). Both kids were asleep in the car and didn't wake up when we brought them in, so they went to bed with Macy in her Easter dress and Bryce in his baptism outfit :) The aunts were once again the chosen Godparents...Paige and Kristy. Paige did really well at the service walking with her cane and standing at the front of the church to represent Bryce. (I didn't get a good pic with Bryce and Paige on my camera...I'll see if someone else got one and add it later) Needless to say, we were exhausted on Easter morning..but, the Easter bunny came and the kids got tons of candy and toys. Now, Macy keeps re-living the whole experience over and over again, we've had many, many Easter egg hunts the last couple days. She's funny...when it's her turn to hide the eggs, she walks with you when you're hunting them and points them all out for you. Bryce has been creeping around like crazy, not officially crawling, but scooting (commando-crawling). He is fast and he is everywhere. :) His new favorite spot is underneath his exersaucer. Macy loves to crawl around and get Bryce to chase her...he is her sweet little shadow. There is a pic of Macy eating Weight Watchers ice cream at the bottom, don't worry...we aren't making our kid diet, that just happened to be the only ice cream we had around that day and she didn't mind :) I love the pic at the bottom of "my boys" and the one of Mimi and Bryce napping together...so sweet! I included some bluebonnet pics...I never could get both kids to look at the camera at the same time...if the bluebonnets stay around longer, maybe we'll try some more shots. And the biggest news of the day....drumroll...Macy is officially going tee-tee in the potty!! At first it was only at school, but starting today we've had 2 successes and no accidents!!! YEAH!!!
