A Happy Easter

Macy had a great Easter this year! First, she had her class party and Easter Egg Hunt at school...pictures below. I love the one where her little friend is trying to put her Easter bunny ears on her head...Macy wanted nothing to do with that! Next, we had her Easter picture taken at the mall on Friday with MiMi...we thought maybe the real bunnies would be less scary than the big stuffed one, but not really...at least it's not an open-mouthed scream like with Santa :) Then, on Saturday we went to her friend Caden's 2nd birthday party...then to the Dawson's for a cookout. Macy loved playing with the Dawson girls...she played so well with them...she doesn't have many girl friends, mostly boys, so I think she enjoyed playing baby dolls. Then, on Easter, we had a big day...first to MiMi and Poppy's for an Easter Egg Hunt and brunch, then out to Weatherford for the big hunt (they had roughly 1300 eggs!!!!) You can see from the pics at MiMi and Poppy's that she was very interested in the "money" eggs...she would shake them all and stop to open the ones with coins. Macy was very pampered during the Weatherford hunt, she had at least 3-4 people in her entourage at all times...I think she collected about 80 eggs (with a little assistance)! Since Easter, we've had a rough week...Macy has some sort of stomach bug and we've had to stay home the last couple days...I hope she gets better soon...we have a fun weekend with Nana planned and her best friend Ryan's birthday party on Saturday!

It's A Boy!!!

We found out that we're having a boy!! We finally got Macy saying "brother" and "I love brother", but when asked what she wants to name him, she says, "Pink Sister"!! I don't think he would like that name very much! Macy has started eating peanut butter recently and it is now her favorite food...the best part is the way she says "peanut butter". I included a cute video below of Macy talking...pretty cute stuff!! Macy is a very silly girl, as you can tell by some of these pictures, she loves to make goofy faces for the camera!

2nd Birthday Party and more

Macy had a great 2nd Birthday! The pictures at the bottom were taken the night of her actual birthday...we went to her favorite place "Donnal's" (McDonald's) with Mimi, Poppy and Aunt Paige, then back to our place for cake. Macy was much more into the cake this year...her and Daddy dove right in head first! That weekend, we had Macy's party at our house...she had a blast! There are tons of pictures below from that...she loves animals, so we had a petting zoo and a pony...Macy loved the petting zoo animals, but would not ride the pony despite much encouragement :( She enjoyed watching all of her friends ride the pony. We had a pony cupcake cake that she wasn't scared of :) These pictures at the top are recently after I picked her up from school...her teachers love to play with her hair and fix it cute (in her class of 12, there on only 2 girls...so she gets pampered). I had to take lots of pictures because Mama isn't so good at doing her hair...it never looks quite that good when I do it :) I have a bunch more cute pictures from recently, but I think this post is a little overloaded already...so, more to come! Also, FYI...we go tomorrow for a sonogram and will hopefully find out the sex of baby #2 :) Macy thinks it will be a girl...every time we ask her if she wants a brother or sister, she says "sister"...we'll see :)
