Christmas 2009!!
We had a great Christmas this year! It was a fun year for the kids!! On Christmas eve day Nana, Grandad and Kristy came over and we opened gifts and had a nice lunch at Olive Garden. Then, it snowed Christmas eve when Mommy and Daddy went to church and Mimi, Potsy and PaiPai stayed at our house and watched the kids. The kids played outside briefly and set out food for Santa and the reindeers. Their faces were in awe on Christmas morning...Macy walked right past all the toys to check the status of all the food to see if any was gone...she was amazed at how much the reindeers ate and the mess that Santa left. They loved their new riding toys the best. Macy also loved all her princess paraphernalia and really dosed up with all her lipsticks :) Shortly after opening the piles of gifts and turning the house into a disaster zone, we headed to the lake for a long weekend... (more to come on the next blog).
Lakehouse, Big 12 Championship Game and Thanksgiving
I haven't posted in so long and so much has happened. We celebrated Thanksgiving at our house with family, then had an inaugural family weekend at our new lakehouse...lots of pictures and lots of fun!! Our neighbors at the lake have kids Macy and Bryce's age and they have had a blast playing with each other! We even took Grandad's new boat out for a spin which was neat, but very cold! Soon after Thanksgiving, Bryan and I got to go see the Longhorns win the Big 12 Championship game at the new Cowboys Stadium with the Hardeman's (our friends from the lake and Bryan's old fraternity brothers). We celebrated Potsy and Nana's birthdays in the beginning of December...for Potsy's we went to Chuck E. Cheese which is pictured below. The rest of the pics are kindof random. Bryan and Macy went Christmas shopping together one day and came home with some cute new pets, Sammy and Bord, the new tiny frogs...the kids are looking at them in one of the pics at the bottom. Well, I'll have to post again soon with Christmas/New Year's and tons more fun lake pics!!
