Macy is 20 Months Old Today!!

I can't believe how fast time flies...our sweet booger-head will be 2 in just 4 months!! Not a lot has happened since the last post...Macy and mommy have both had a bad case of the stomach bug...yuk! A lot of these pictures are from Mimi's camera. There are some from the playdate with Benjamin and the Cowans, some from the Austin trip, and some from TX/OU weekend at the Fair. Macy and I returned to the Fair for a 2nd trip with Nana...Macy loved the dog show and got to see the dogs up close afterward...she especially loved it when they jumped into the water. Macy is finally getting a little more hair...I picked her up from school one day and her teachers had put it up in the cutest little pigtails...see below...I've been trying to do it myself, but I'm not that talented at pigtails. (they don't last very long...she likes to pull them out). Macy now says her name, but it sounds more like "Maney"...she now says "mine" ALL the time and loves watermelon, which she stuffs so much in her mouth she looks like a chipmunk! Bryan and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Friday...I can't believe it's already been that long! We saw a movie and ate sushi yesterday while Mimi babysat...it was a fun and much needed break!

Balloon Festival and TX/OU Weekend

Ok...so there are a million pictures on this post and still too many more than I need to add. These first ones are from this Saturday at the State Fair on TX-OU weekend....fun time at the fair...not so fun football game...BOOOOOO!! We went ALL day with Mimi, Poppy and the Cowans...Macy had so much fun at the petting zoo and the bird show...not so much love for the rides as you can see below. She cried all during the "tea cup" ride and we had to have the guy cut it off early. There are also pictures from a recent road trip to Springtown where we visited with Nana, Grandad, Nennee and Great Grandad. Ever since the Cowboy party at our house several weeks ago, the gates at the bottom of the stairs have been taken down and Macy is LOVIN' it...she plays on the stairs and especially loves it when Emma comes up to the landing to play with her:) We also recently went to the Plano Balloon Festival...Macy enjoyed the balloons for a short while, then she was more interested in playing with an empty cup...go figure! I finally included a few pics from Bryan's Labor Day weekend camping trip with Mike to the mountains...they had a blast and it looks like it was beautiful there...they went fly fishing and drank a lot of beer:) Mimi has some great swimming pics that I will try to add soon. We are planning another trip to the Fair again tomorrow with Nana, so more fun Fair pics soon:)
