Bluebonnets, Elvis, Tee Tee, and Row Row

Where to begin....so much has happened since the last post...as you can see, I couldn't decide on a title this time. I guess first I'll explain the title...I've been a little obsessed about taking Macy's pictures in the bluebonnets, so we've gone to a field by our house twice already...but I'm still not happy I got the best shots, so I think there will be more bluebonnet pics to come :) Bryan and I went to a dinner the other night at III Forks for one of his dental societys and he got sworn in as a new officer...the entertainment for the night was an Elvis impersonator (from Burleson nonetheless)...there is a picture of us with "the King" below...I also took some pretty sweet video of Bryan dancing onstage with him, but the video is so long it would take forever to upload on here...maybe it'll show up on a later posting...Macy's video beat his out for this post :) Big News....tonight, Macy went tee tee for the first time on her potty...we were soooo proud...it was such a big deal and she got a few M&Ms. There is a picture below of her standing next to the potty...we also tried pull-ups for the first time today. The best part of this post is the video at the end...Macy is such a little performer at bedtime...she loves to dance and sing and "march" when she is naked, just before or after bathtime. I've included her very strange rendition of "Row Row Row Your Boat" (she adds special effects at the end, and she does it the exact same way every time...don't ask me), she also loves to play "Marching"...it was funny...at the bluebonnet field, she started doing "marching" right in the middle of all the flowers...I picked her up very quickly and hoped no one saw her smashing flowers...is that illegal? :) Macy had her class pictures taken last week at school...I love this one where they are all cracking up...the 2 boys directly in front of Macy are her little boyfriends (Ryan and Narit)...both of them had recent birthday parties that she went to and had a great time! Macy has been introduced to time outs at home lately...on the stairs...one night in particular she was crying in time out and Bryan and I were finishing dinner, we suddenly noticed it got eerily quiet...we looked over and she had fallen asleep on the stairs in time out!! (picture below...pretty cute!) Macy has also become much more independent lately when playing...she plays school and house with her dolls and lines them up in chairs or the window sills...they each get a blanket, bottle, snacks and sometimes a sticker or a marker. It's very cute...she also plays outside while we watch through the windows...she really loves to play with Barney, Dora and Hello Kitty outside...she pushes them in strollers and places them on the ground wrapped in "bank banks" for naps. Tonight, she put Barney in "time out" for biting Kitty...and she came in and asked me for ice for Kitty...sooo cute! We also ordered Macy's big girl bed and furniture this past week....it's on backorder until May...we're very excited for this transition and hope it will go smoothly. Once the furniture comes, we can get started on moving her crib to the baby's room and painting, etc....fun! Well, I probably didn't think of everything this time, but it's getting very late and I am very tired...enjoy the pics and video!!
