Halloween and Napa trip

We had a great Halloween this year!! We went to the Fall Festival at the church where Bryce goes to MDO and they had sooo much to do. Macy enjoyed the games, bouncehouses & petting zoo and Bryce just wanted down to run around...he didn't care if we were following him or not. We had to really keep an eye on him in the crowd...Mr. Independent :) Then, Macy's school had their annual parade and Halloween party...there is a pic below of Macy with her 2 best friends Sammy (Batman) & Ryan (Thomas the Train). The whole family was here for the trick-or-treating festivities on Halloween night...some of the adults even dressed up...I was a witch, my mom was a hippie, Paige was a lady Dracula/Elvira type person and Bryan even tried on her wig for one pic below...very scary!! The kids got tons of candy and enjoyed dumping it all out in the hallway when we got home...Bryce proceeded to eat some candy right through the wrappers :) Then, Bryan and I had a wonderful getaway to Napa Valley this past weekend. We went with 3 other couples and stayed at a beautiful place called the Carneros Inn. Everything there was so amazing...the wine was great, the scenery was stunning...the vines were all turning fall colors. We had the best time and would love to go back someday! Our favorite winery of all was a place called Del Dotto where you walked on a tour through caves filled with wine barrels and got to taste the wine right out of the barrels...we had a hilarious tour-guide who made it so much fun!! We did miss the kids though and are happy to be back home...and I'm pretty sure Mimi and Nana are glad we decided to come back home, too :) Bryan has decided recently to start playing hockey again...and there are a couple pics at the bottom from one of his recent games. Bryce was so cute after the game running all around pushing Daddy's hockey sticks everywhere. The guy there actually said they start kids as young as 2 with skating/hockey lessons....Really?!?! In 9 short months, Bryce could be a mini hockey pro...Bryan would love that!!
