Busy Week

Macy had a pretty busy week last week. We went to the Dallas Zoo on Thursday with Lisa and Caden...I love the picture of them holding hands in their strollers :) We had so much fun and Macy and Caden especially loved playing in the water at the end of the day...they got soaked and had to change clothes. This past weekend we had 2 birthday parties on Saturday...Macy was wiped out after such a long day, but she had so much fun! First we went to a combined birthday party at Park Lane Ranch where they had a petting zoo, pony/horse rides, putt-putt, and all kinds of fun stuff...Macy's favorite part were the "ratchies" (her word for rabbits). We tried once again to get Macy to sit on a pony, but no luck...she would only let Daddy stand near it holding her for a quick picture. Then, we had Cooper's party at Little Gym...Macy had never been to Little Gym before...she was pretty timid at first, but warmed up really quick and was climbing, jumping and swinging from the bars in no time. Towards the end of the page are my final attempts at the bluebonnet pictures...the field is all grown over with weeds now, so this bluebonnet season is over...we'll get more next year :) Macy is still obsessed with Barney (the annoying purple dinosaur)...we watch it over and over...Mama knows ALL the songs now...not really something to brag about, though :) On one episode, it showed a little boy walking his dog on a leash and for some reason Macy was very excited and wanted to walk Emma herself...obviously this would not work out outdoors where Emma pulls so hard that she can almost pull me over...but in the house, Macy can walk around with her on the leash and Emma is pretty good and doesn't try to pull her...it's pretty cute. You can tell Emma is hating this new game :) And as far as an update on the potty training...we've still only had that one successful attempt at tee-teeing on the potty...she sits on it all the time, but no more luck....hopefully we'll have more progress soon!
